Introduction To MPHW

Multi-purpose health worker (MPHW) is a medical level course during which the males and females are trained to handle & perform health care activities. This course is designed to prepare the candidates for multiple works like emergency health care services at lower levels in various places.

The candidates who join this MPHW course, are trained in the basic concepts of various medical subjects including pharmacy, psychology, microbiology, nutrition, medicine, surgery, dentistry, midwifery, hygiene, sociology, fundamentals of nursing, medical-surgical nursing, maternal health nursing, communicable disease control, nursing or allied health professions, communication skills, general foundation course, anatomy, physiology, family planning / welfare activities and environmental sanitation, child health nursing, community health nursing etc.
